Cape Coral Beach, Florida

Relatively new on the southwest Florida vacation scene, Cape Coral is actually a peninsula on the Golf Coast. It is bordered by the Caloosahatchee River on the east and Matlacha Pass on the west.
Cape Coral is geographically the third largest city in Florida, so no need to worry about running into any big crowds while on your vacation. There's plenty of room to enjoy the warm sun and amazing views. 400 miles of canals makes Cape Coral a water paradise.
Fishing, kayaking, jet skiing, boating, you name it and it can be found here in Cape Coral. Day trips to Sanibel and Captiva Islands plus Fort Myers Beach are easy and make will make your vacation even more eventful, or non-eventful, if that's what you want. You can even experience a bit of adventure at the Sun Splash Family Waterpark. The city was incorporated in 1970, and the majority of homes and condos are not owned by full time residents. That means plenty of great vacation rentals from which to choose.
Can a vacation in Florida get any better than this? The Gulf of Mexico, rivers, canals, golf, great local shopping and dining, spectacular natural beauty, loads of respite rentals and near-perfect weather for the winter weary. We're not sure, but we're guessing Cape Coral will become your favorite vacation getaway.
